Faith, Hope and Love
Posted by jessbabe on Tuesday Jul 14, 2009 Under MemoriesA year ago (27th of July, 2008), I made a rash decision to get a traditional tattoo on my right pelvic in Koh Phi Phi.
It might not be the biggest or nicest one but I surely adore it.
13th of July, 2009 marked another great date in my life.
I’ve always wanted something scripted on my neck. Hence, instead of getting a barcode, I’ve got these three meaningful words in Hebrew- Faith, Hope and Love.
Faith : To have faith in God’s doing, in people. To believe that faith isĀ something that can’t be seen, touch, taste or hear, something that no one can invade from me. To have faith and trust when my inner voice whispers that everything will be alright. That life consists of funny people, funny incidents. That God has something great planned for me.
Hope : To hope, to dream, to live, to desire. Hope is not doing something blindly. But to commit and then hope for the best. To trust that life is the greatest. That life is better with a little hope. That nothing is permanent. Hope is what keeps me falling and learning to stand up on my feet again.
Love : To love, cherish and appreciate people around me. To be in love is a natural thing, to fall out of love is a lesson to be learn. Love does not equal to men and sex. Love brings more than two people together. Love is when a long lost friend comes back with a bottle of Absinthe, love is when Mum buys me nasi lemak every Saturday morning, love is when a girlfriend text me and says how much she misses my hyena laugh, love is when a friend comes back from Paris with a blessed cross as a gift, love is when I come home to my two precious dogs, love is when someone gives me his dearest MU jersey because I’m a MU fan. Love is not diamond ring, expensive dinner, fast sexy sports car. Love is the small little things that people do.
Definitely am loving it. Oh, did I mention the pain wasn’t as bad as I thought it would be. At times, it was a bit ticklish at certain point. I guess the sound freaks me more than the pain. Hopefully it heals nicely.

Jesus loves Jess this she knows,
for the Bible tells her so,
Little ones to him belong,
Though we’re weak, but He is strong.
Yes, Jesus loves Jess,
yes, Jesus loves Jess,
Yes Jesus loves Jess,
for the bible tells her so.
*winks* I am a friend of your another friend. XD

@ renaelyng : thanks. the angel’s wings was a spontaneous moment in phi phi island. checked in the room and then walked around the area, saw this tattoo shop and a couple was doing it, I thought I might as well get one. Hence the pretty tattoo. Loved it!

Hi,
I am a fan of tattoos, and you should find for St James Tattoo. You can search for him on facebook. I would say its quite a nicely done tattoo.
I too am a tattoo enthusiast, and I previously got tattooed at Borneo Ink, but I have personally seen St James Tattoo’s work and its awesome.
Cheers~!
